Volunteers help us feed local families & support local farmers. Opportunities include packing fresh food boxes to assisting in our retail market, and everything in between! Complete the Interest Form below to get involved as a volunteer or stay up-to-date with upcoming opportunities.
Age Requirements: Volunteers must be at least 14 years old to participate and must be accompanied by an adult over 18 y/o. Volunteers 16 y/o and older do not need to be accompanied by an adult over 18.
Group Volunteering: Your company, department or group is welcome to join us for an upcoming volunteer opportunity. To schedule this, complete the Interest Form below and let us know how you’d like to get involved.
Our fresh food box programs, like FoodShareSC, provide local families in need a healthy variety of fresh vegetables, including items sourced from local farmers. Volunteers will work collaboratively to assist in assembling and packing boxes.
Details: Tuesdays every other week from 10:30am to 12:30pm (generally) at Feed & Seed
Number of Volunteers: ~12-14 per packing day

Details: 4:00 – 5:30pm on March 7th, 2023 at ‘THE STOREHOUSE’ @ 5 POINT CHURCH (1021 S Pendleton St, Easley)
Number of Volunteers: 1-2
The Grab-n-Go Green Market at The Food Innovation Hub has both a retail space that sells local produce, dry goods, and household supplies, as well as a deli counter that has prepared hot and ready-to-cook meals. Volunteers will help restock items, price tag products, and help customers.
Details: Available Wednesdays for 2 hour shifts scheduled 8:00am to 6:00pm at Feed & Seed (701 Easley Bridge Rd, Suite 6010, Greenville, SC 29611).
Number of Volunteers Needed: 1 to 2, per two-hour shift
Get your hands dirty and assist our local growers out on their farms. This may look like harvesting, sowing seeds, turning over fields, or other seasonal needs they have to continue providing us with fresh, high quality produce grown right here in South Carolina.

Every so often we host fun and educational events for the community. Volunteers may help run kids activities, greet customers in our Green Market, share information about Feed & Seed to visitors, etc. The number of volunteers needed will depend on the type of event.
