- In a large saucepan over medium heat, cook turkey bacon according to package instructions. When finished, remove the bacon but leave the grease in the pan.
- Add onion and garlic to the saucepan and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
- Deglaze the pan by adding half of the vegetable broth.
- Next, add collard greens and stir until slightly wilted, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add the rest of the broth along with vinegar, soy or Worchester sauce, brown sugar (optional), hot sauce (optional), and spices to the pan. Cover and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
