Feed & Seed Co. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to closing food access gaps and strengthening the local food economy across South Carolina. We partner with farmers throughout the state to source fresh, seasonal produce and ensure it reaches the communities that need it most—whether through local markets, schools, community organizations, or directly to households via our FoodShare program.

FoodShare Pickens, Oconee & Abbeville is our community-focused program designed to make fresh, healthy produce accessible and affordable for everyone. Each Fresh Food Box is carefully curated with 10–12 varieties of seasonal fruits and vegetables, providing families with the ingredients they need to prepare nutritious meals at home.
Boxes are priced at $20 each for credit or debit payments, and just $5 per box for SNAP/EBT recipients, making it easier for all households to access high-quality, local produce. Boxes are available twice a month at convenient pickup locations throughout Pickens, Oconee & Abbeville and surrounding areas, ensuring families can reliably get fresh food right in their neighborhoods.
Every box also includes a recipe card, offering simple, healthy ideas to help families make the most of their produce. By participating in FoodShare Pickens, Oconee & Abbeville, families not only enjoy fresher meals—they also support local farmers and contribute to a stronger, more sustainable food system across South Carolina.
